Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and assessing patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapy techniques and modifying approaches as necessary to meet each patient's needs.
• Providing skilled therapeutic interventions, both in the clinic and potentially at the patient's home, in alignment with the physician's treatment plan.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction with the rehabilitation process.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Educating patients and their caregivers on recovery methods, rehabilitation exercises, and wellness strategies.
• Meeting minimum productivity goals while maintaining high standards of quality and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily engage with orthopedic patients, but you will also have the opportunity to work with individuals from a variety of demographics including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine clients. This diverse clientele will enable you to utilize a comprehensive toolkit of therapeutic skills and expand your clinical expertise.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program, with preference given to those holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Computer proficiency, including word processing and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).

Preferred Experience
