Front Desk Agent (Seasonal Swing-Shift)

Job Summary Tahoe City, CA Seasonal $22.00-$24.00/hour Seasonal Position: May - September 2026 Are you friendly and able to work in a multi‑paced environment? The Front Desk Agent attends to guests’ needs, included, but not limited to, registration, checkout, and cashiering. This is a Part‑Time seasonal position. Opportunity for continued employment in same or different department. Responsibilities Greet guests (with a smile) and perform registration procedures; Check‑in and check‑out guests Explain credits and debts Provide guests with appropriate and accurate resort information Verify guests' credit, and establish payment for the accommodation Assist guests with, and follow up on, issues and complaints Answer incoming calls: provide resort information, make reservations or direct to appropriate department Possess knowledge of reservation policies and procedures; including groups OTAs and IRMs Maintain current knowledge of local area, attractions, events and weather Perform other duties as assigned; be able to competently perform all tasks on shift checklists Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude when interacting with guests Night audit training Assist group lodging coordinator with data entry Open & close front desk as needed Pay Range $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience: Previous guest service or hotel experience preferred Customer service experience required Strong communication skills required for guest interactions Basic computer (Microsoft Office) and typing skills required Must be able to work with others and independently Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math concepts Attention to detail and organized Benefits Insurance - Health, Dental & Life (Full‑Time only) Bonus Program Paid Vacation (Full‑Time only) Profit Sharing Plan (Full‑Time only) Employee Meeting Space Rental Discounts Employee Lodging Rates and Friends and Family Rates Employee Shift Meals and Food Discounts Shared Gold Pass for California Ski Resorts About Us Granlibakken Tahoe is a beautiful secluded resort located in 74 wooded acres of picturesque Tahoe City mountain valley.
