About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Virginia License required or proof of compact license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Description: Our home health agency is a rural, community-based program providing skilled therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes. We focus on helping patients recover from illness, injury, surgery, and chronic disease while promoting independence, preventing hospitalizations, and improving quality of life. The PTA will work collaboratively with physical therapists and the care team to provide high-quality therapy services across a diverse rural service area. The role includes providing therapy services for six visits per day. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS rate. We are dedicated to improving our patients' recovery experiences through skilled care and a multidisciplinary approach. Candidates must have specialty experience within the last year.
