Job Purpose

The Paul Davis ERC – Restoration Sales role is a front-line, high-impact position responsible for responding to property loss events and securing emergency service work. This is a true hunter-style sales role that combines relationship building, urgency, empathy, and persistence. The ERC is often the first company representative on site and plays a critical role in turning a distressed situation into a confident, trusting customer relationship.

Key Responsibilities

· Respond promptly to fire and property damage emergencies within the San Marcos and surrounding Southern California territory.

· Serve as the first point of contact on active loss scenes, securing Emergency Work Authorizations and initiating mitigation services.

· Build immediate trust with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients during high-stress fire and disaster events.

· Coordinate and dispatch emergency response crews, prioritizing mitigation services based on loss type and severity.

· Conduct initial damage assessments and create accurate new loss documentation to support mitigation and reconstruction efforts.

· Verify insurance coverage and work professionally with insurance adjusters and claims personnel to facilitate timely approvals and smooth claim progression.

· Clearly communicate customer expectations, site hazards, and property conditions to internal production teams to ensure safe and efficient execution.

· Maintain accurate records of dispatched losses, authorizations, and follow-up on declined or delayed services.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, and referral partners to drive local emergency response opportunities.

· Represent the Paul Davis brand with professionalism, integrity, and consistency in a competitive local market.

Qualifications

· Proven sales experience with a strong ability to close (hunter mentality required)

· Willingness to be on-call 24/7/365 as part of an emergency response rotation

· Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-pressure, customer-facing environments

· Persuasive, resilient, and persistent with a strong desire to help others

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Highly organized with strong follow-through

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

· High school diploma or equivalent (industry experience preferred, not required)

· Experience with insurance claims, emergency services, or restoration is a plus

Compensation

· Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

· Performance-based bonus tied to closed sales
