About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: Valid RN Licensure in California Certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS PALS NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in emergency nursing True float position experience Description: Responsible for providing direct patient care effectively using the nursing process. Conducts assessment, planning, implementation, and continual reassessment as the foundation for care delivery. Serves as a patient advocate and coordinates care. Promotes safety and clinical/service quality in daily practice. This position requires floating between multiple facilities as a full float position. Travelers may be scheduled at different campuses for each shift and will be notified 2 hours prior to their start time. Weekend rotation and on-call requirements will be part of the position. Experience in handling diverse patient populations and clinical scenarios is essential. Candidates must possess emergency room skills and be comfortable with a wide range of critical conditions. Preparedness to manage a variety of emergencies and be proficient in emergency procedures is required. Willingness to float across facilities based on staffing needs will be necessary.
