Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a 304-bed acute care hospital
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout each shift
• Participate in every-other-weekend rotation as required by the unit schedule
• Respond to on-call needs as required, with on-call obligations limited to the first 4 hours when applicable
• Float within scope to like units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or a valid Multistate / Compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Ability to meet all pre-start compliance requirements, including labs completed within required timeframes

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification
