Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a PASTRY COOK to join the team at our busy bakery! In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads and pastries. You will be responsible for setting up the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious breads and pastries. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your talent with our team and customers, we’d like to hear from you!Duties and Responsibilities:Open the bakery and prepare for the day aheadClean and sanitize equipment and baking areasBake a variety of breads, cakes, cookies and pastriesDecorate pastriesAssist in preparing custom ordersTrack, maintain, and order inventory as necessaryAssist with savory options (sandwiches, salads, grab & go items)Qualifications:Previous experience as a baker, pastry cook, or in a similar role is preferredAbility to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipmentKnowledge of food safety practicesPrevious experience decorating cakesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environmentStrong organizational and time-management skillsTeam playerAvailable for early morning shiftsBenefits/PerksCompetitive Compensation + shared tips2 Weeks paid vacationCareer Advancement Opportunities as we grow our brand
