You'll work one-on-one with clients in a private home setting, supporting their unique care needs.About the ClientOur client is a 40-year-old man who is non-verbal and paralyzed resulting from a motor vehicle accident (MVA). He requires comprehensive assistance to safely and comfortably manage his daily routine. A nurse will be on shift for this case.Shift: 11:00am- 9:00pmWe have additional opportunities in surrounding areas such as Canton, Ann Arbor, and PlymouthPay Range: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience and case needs Flexible schedules and weekly payResponsibilitiesAssist with mobility and transfers to prevent fallsProvide basic personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressingMonitor and assist with oxygen therapy as neededPrepare light snacks or drinks upon requestOffer companionship and emotional reassurance throughout the shiftAssist in positioning and turning to prevent discomfortDocument and report changes in client condition promptlyRespond to emergencies following proper proceduresPerform duties as outlined in the patient's plan of careMonitor client's physical and mental condition, intake/output, and exerciseMaintain a safe, clean, and healthy care environmentFollow professional standards, care policies, and local/state/federal requirementsQualificationsCNA, HHA, or equivalent experience in home care preferred Experience working with fall-risk and mobility-impaired clients strongly desired Must be comfortable assisting with personal care tasks Reliable, patient, and attentive to individual needs Comfortable working in a private home setting Ability to work independently and follow a care plan Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Comfortable using tablets/computers for documentation Strong attention to detail and ability to follow all care protocols Ability to address minor medical concerns as they ariseDocumentation RequirementsTo be eligible for employment, all caregivers must provide the following: Valid Driver's License Current CPR Certification Clear Background Check Negative TB Test Results Proof of Auto Insurance (with your name listed on the policy)We're looking for caregivers who are patient, reliable, and genuinely passionate about helping others.
