Hiring 1st Shift Assembler II in Carlsbad $20-23/hr

The Assembler II is responsible for executing a broad range of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks, ensuring the production of high-quality products within established routing times. This role involves working with pulley, cable systems, machined products, and integrated circuits, and requires the use of basic hand tools for subassemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to established routing times and Operational Method Sheets (OMS) to ensure form, fit, and function.
• Conduct product inspections to maintain quality standards.
• Perform audits at the workstation, including Tool Audit, Kanban Health Audit, and Card Audit.
• Document quality issues and improvement opportunities within the PA Dashboard.
• Process Kanban cards to ensure transactional accuracy.
• Ensure correct quantities of items are assembled and labeled.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of assembly experience or manufacturing production experience.
• Ability to read basic work instructions.
• Proficiency in mechanical assembly and use of basic hand tools.
• Capability to lift 25 lbs or more.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar environment as an Assembler I.
• Simple oral communication skills, visual acuity, and manual dexterity.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.

Work Environment

Work in a high delivery manufacturing environment within a brand-new, clean, and spacious production floor. The facility is well-ventilated, and safety equipment such as smocks and safety glasses are provided. Lockers are available for securing personal belongings. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime.

This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
