Transdev in East Hartford, CT is hiring a Data Entry Clerk. The Data Entry Clerk performs data entry of information to maintain database through the company’s software. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Key Responsibilities Data entry of Times and Odometer Reading. Perform clerical and administrative tasks according to contractual and legal mandates. Input and extract data from manifests to provide data to management and the client. Other duties as required. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Minimum of one-year related work experience. Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen. Work environment will be a combination of indoors and outdoors. Physical Requirements Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions – 100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces. Push and pull objects up to 15 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level. Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise. Benefits Competitive compensation package of $17.25 per hour ($35,880 annual). Vacation: minimum of one week after one full continuous year of employment. Sick days: 5 days.
