Decor & Ambiance Coordinator

Job Details

A charming and cozy Italian restaurant located in the heart of the West Village, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Decor & Ambiance Coordinator   to join our team. This is an entry-level position with opportunities to grow within a vibrant, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Floral Care:   Assist in the arrangement, maintenance, and upkeep of fresh flowers and plants throughout the restaurant.
• Event Setup:   Help with the preparation and execution of event room setups, ensuring a seamless and visually pleasing experience for guests.
• Cleaning & Organization:   Perform regular cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy and organized floral area, dining spaces, and event rooms.
• Physical Tasks:   Engage in lifting, bending, and moving floral arrangements, supplies, and furniture for events or room setups.
• Additional Duties:   Assist with any other tasks as needed, including restocking floral supplies, unpacking deliveries, and helping with special projects.

Requirements:

• Attention to Detail:   A keen eye for aesthetics and the ability to help create visually appealing environments.
• Physical Stamina:   Ability to lift and carry items (up to 50 pounds), bend, and move around the restaurant during shifts.
• Team Player:   Willingness to collaborate with the rest of the restaurant team to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Positive Attitude:   Friendly and eager to learn, with a passion for flowers and design.
• Previous Experience (Preferred):   Experience in floral care, design, or event setup is a plus, but we are open to training the right candidate.

Schedule:

• Part-time + seasonal availability.
• Flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, depending on event schedules.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $21.00)
