Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $75,000 to $85,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting activities for an active fund and support wind-down processes as needed.
• Track development-related expenses and coordinate funding draws with property managers.
• Process corporate credit card transactions and assist with accounts payable functions.
• Perform full-cycle month-end close, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and AR/AP.
• Prepare and process dividend distributions and handle intercompany transactions.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and managing intercompany activity.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Real estate industry experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills for presenting financial data and coordinating with stakeholders.
