Job Description Position Senior Accountant Pay Range 85000 110000 PER YR Reporting To Controller Work Type On site POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Accountant is responsible for leading the accounting and financial reporting activities for assigned entities while ensuring the accuracy completeness and timeliness of the monthly close This position prepares and reviews complex accounting transactions financial statements reconciliations and supporting schedules provides technical accounting guidance to the accounting team and partners with operational departments to resolve accounting issues The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining strong internal controls supporting audits driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance 5 years progressive accounting experience Strong US GAAP knowledge Advanced Excel NetSuite or comparable ERP CPA preferred ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following is a representation of the major duties and responsibilities of this position The agency will make reasonable accommodations to allow otherwise qualified applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions Lead month end close for assigned entities Review Staff Accountant journal entries and reconciliations Prepare entity wide reconciliation packages for review by management Record and provide reconciliation for AR Revenue posting each month Perform trending analysis both for entities and department review Review Prepaid and Amortization Schedules Perform detailed payroll review for withholdings reissues department coding and analysis Perform complex reconciliations including intercompany activity Coordinate audit requests and supporting schedules Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Mentor and train Staff Accountants Partner with billing payroll AP and operations Ability to create ROU schedules and familiar with lease accounting under ASC 842 Recommend process improvements Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Stand sit talk hear reach stoop kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer telephone and keyboard on a frequent basis up to 75 of the time Close vision requirements due to computer work Light to moderate lifting may be required #J-18808-Ljbffr
