The Tax, Trusts & Estates Associate plays a vital role in advising clients on complex matters relating to tax planning, trusts, and estate administration. This position is available in multiple firm offices, including Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, exceptional communication skills, and relevant legal experience to support sophisticated client needs in these practice areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on federal and state tax issues related to trusts and estates.
• Draft and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Assist with trust and estate administration and related legal filings.
• Collaborate with clients to develop tax-efficient estate strategies.
• Conduct legal research to support complex tax and trust matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and other professionals.
• Maintain knowledge of evolving tax laws and estate regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bar admission in one or more states where the firm has offices and the candidate intends to reside.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of legal practice focusing on tax, trusts, and estates.
