The affordable housing team is a standout platform representing developers, investors, syndicators, lenders, and public agencies on tax credit financings, bond deals, mixed-income developments, and related matters. Associates benefit from substantial deal flow, early responsibility, direct partner access, and a clear partnership track set out from day one. What You'll Be Doing Represent developers, investors, and lenders on complex affordable housing real estate transactions Draft and negotiate loan agreements, partnership agreements, tax credit documents, and other financing documentation Advise on Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), tax‑exempt bonds, government incentive programs, and construction financing Manage transactions from due diligence through closing while working directly with clients Work alongside partners on sophisticated affordable housing and community development matters What They're Looking For 3–7 years’ affordable housing or commercial real estate experience at a reputable law firm Experience with LIHTC transactions, real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, and debt/equity financings, as well as related due diligence (e.g., title and survey review) Exposure to affordable housing finance, tax credit syndication, or government-assisted projects Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills Admission to the New York Bar What's on Offer Competitive salary of $300,000–$365,000 plus bonus High-profile affordable housing work with market‑leading clients Early responsibility, significant client contact, and a clear path to partnership Collaborative team with excellent mentoring and a platform built for genuine long‑term growth Strong workflow and outstanding work‑life balance relative to peer firms #J-18808-Ljbffr
