Real Estate Finance Associate Location: New York, NY Base Pay Range $240,000.00/yr - $375,000.00/yr About the Firm A leading global law firm with a nationally recognized commercial real estate finance practice is looking for a Real Estate Finance Associate to join its New York office. The firm represents a diverse roster of lenders, borrowers, private equity investors, insurance companies, REITs, and developers in sophisticated real estate finance transactions. The practice offers the chance to lead deals, work on high-value transactions, and collaborate with a skilled, client‑focused team. What You’ll Be Doing Represent lenders and borrowers in a broad range of commercial real estate finance transactions, including senior mortgage loans, construction loans, mezzanine financing, preferred equity, and co‑lender arrangements Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary financing documents Manage transaction closings from start to finish, coordinating with internal teams, clients, and third‑party counsel Provide strategic advice to clients on complex financing structures, risk allocation, and regulatory compliance What They’re Looking For 4–8 years of commercial real estate finance experience, ideally with exposure to both lender and borrower representation Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to first‑chair transactions and manage deals independently with support from senior team members Highly motivated, collaborative, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple high‑value transactions simultaneously Admission to the New York Bar in good standing What’s on Offer Competitive base salary: $240,000 – $375,000, depending on experience and qualifications Comprehensive bonus system, including productivity, business development, and merit‑based bonuses ranging from $10,000–$200,000+ Exposure to high‑value, complex real estate finance transactions with institutional clients Collaborative, high‑performing team culture with mentorship and professional growth opportunities Seniority Level Not Applicable Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Legal Industries Legal Services, Law Practice, and Real Estate Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Simpson Judge USA by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
