Job Description

As a Security Officer Site Response in Hopkins, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities-related location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, utility-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, equipment areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
