We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accounting Manager to join a dynamic entertainment organization in Miami, Florida in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role is ideal for a bilingual accounting leader who can drive complex close activities, oversee multi-entity financial operations across Latin America, and provide strong technical guidance in a fast-moving environment. The position follows a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote, with the expectation of supporting demanding workloads during peak periods.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the full month-end close process, ensuring timely journal entries, reconciliations, rollforwards, and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Oversee balance sheet activity by reviewing account reconciliations, investigating variances, and maintaining strong support for reported balances.
• Manage consolidated reporting for Latin American operations, including foreign currency translation and multi-currency financial analysis.
• Supervise and develop a small accounting team, providing direction, review, and day-to-day support to drive high-quality results.
• Partner with internal and external auditors by preparing documentation, answering inquiries, and helping coordinate audit activities from planning through completion.
• Maintain and strengthen internal control practices in alignment with public-company standards and organizational compliance expectations.
• Support accounting for complex business activities such as joint ventures, newly acquired entities, and region-specific reporting requirements when applicable.
• Collaborate across finance and operational groups to resolve reporting issues, improve accounting workflows, and support work across multiple accounting platforms.• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Proven accounting experience supporting Latin American operations, including multi-entity environments and financial consolidations.
• Strong hands-on background in month-end close, general ledger activities, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Deep knowledge of balance sheet accounting, including reconciliations, rollforwards, and issue resolution.
• Experience with foreign currency accounting and multi-currency reporting is required.
• Prior people management experience with responsibility for leading at least two team members.
• Demonstrated success supporting internal and external audits in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with extended hours when business demands require.
