Overview Job summary: Sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. May work with adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations. Responsibilities Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory conditions. Provide care to adult, pediatric and neonatal patients as assigned. Required Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State. Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License (upon hire). National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire). National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications 6 months of previous hospital-based work experience in respiratory care. Why Join Providence Swedish? Base pay is determined by experience and other factors. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
