Who we are. Grain Millers, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and merchandiser of whole grain ingredients utilized in food products served around the world. While you may not know us directly, you almost certainly know our products. We have supplied food and dairy ingredients to virtually every large food company in the world for 40 years. We employ nearly 1000 associates throughout North America. Our Eden Prairie, MN headquarters is the hub of our support infrastructure. Our manufacturing facilities are in MN, IA, WI, IN, OR and Canada.
Why we need you. We're growing our Oat Division and are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to help accelerate that growth. In this role, you'll lead new customer development across oat-based ingredients, fiber, and other-than-oats (OTO)/blend products, while also ensuring continuity and momentum across existing accounts. Your impact will be felt immediately as you build a strong pipeline, uncover new market opportunities, and turn technically differentiated products into long-term customer partnerships. You'll work closely with a highly collaborative group of internal partners across sales leadership, technical, quality, operations, and commercial teams within the Oat and Fiber businesses. Reporting to the VP of Sales for the Oat Division -and partnering with Fiber leadership-you'll be at the center of cross-functional efforts to deliver customer solutions that are both commercially compelling and operationally sound. - Leading new customer identification, prospecting, onboarding, and market expansion efforts
- Building and managing a robust sales pipeline from first contact through long-term partnership
- Owning commercial relationships, including pricing strategy and growth planning
- Identifying new applications, end uses, and market segments for oat, fiber, and OTO/blend products
- Translating market intelligence and customer feedback into actionable commercial insights
- 7+ years of proven sales and business development experience in food ingredients, agriculture, oats, fiber, or related markets
- Demonstrated success in new customer acquisition and revenue growth
- Technical aptitude with the ability to translate product attributes into customer value
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Comfort working autonomously while partnering cross-functionally to achieve results
