Kitchen Manager – $70K–$75K + Bonus & Benefits
Commack, NY | $70,000–$75,000 | Bonus | Medical, Dental & Vision | PTO

A successful, high-volume restaurant in Commack, NY is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager / BOH Manager to join its leadership team.
We’re looking for a hands-on restaurant leader who knows how to run a busy kitchen, develop a strong team, control costs, and maintain excellent food quality and execution.
Kitchen Managers, Executive Kitchen Managers, Sous Chefs, Assistant Kitchen Managers, and experienced BOH leaders are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do
Lead day-to-day kitchen operations in a high-volume restaurant
Be a visible, hands-on leader during busy shifts
Train, coach, and develop BOH team members and future leaders
Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, portioning, and presentation
Manage food cost, labor, inventory, ordering, and waste
Build effective schedules based on business volume
Maintain strong food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Oversee receiving, storage, inventory, and product rotation
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and retaining a strong kitchen team
Partner with FOH leadership to ensure smooth service and a great guest experience
Identify opportunities to improve kitchen efficiency and overall performance
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of kitchen leadership experience preferred
Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment
Full-service experience is preferred, but strong BOH leaders from other high-volume restaurant concepts are encouraged to apply
Working knowledge of food cost, labor, inventory, ordering, and kitchen operations
Strong leadership and team-development skills
Hands-on management style—you’re comfortable jumping in alongside your team
Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to food quality, cleanliness, and food safety
Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
ServSafe Manager Certification is a plus or willingness to obtain it
