Manager, Freelance Recruiting

Role Description

We are hiring a Manager, Global Freelancer Recruitment to lead a team of talent acquisition specialists and strategically optimize the end-to-end sourcing, activation, and performance of our international network of freelance QA professionals.

• Direct Network Ownership: You will lead the strategy for scaling growth of a global marketplace, matching network supply with complex client requests in real time.
• Process Transformation: You will have the autonomy to re-engineer robust talent acquisition workflows and champion sourcing and vetting optimizations.

What would your day look like?

• Lead and manage a high-performing global freelancer recruitment team, providing daily guidance and management to achieve network growth targets.
• Execute and oversee end-to-end recruitment request fulfillment, ensuring daily progress and tracking recruitment KPIs to ensure operational delivery efficiency.
• Manage pre-sales discovery and scoping calls to align required freelancer volume with future pipeline demands.
• Drive workflow and process optimization across the talent acquisition lifecycle, focusing specifically on optimizing external freelancer sourcing, onboarding, and activation rates.
• Manage the strategic oversight of recruitment-related support tickets, ensuring SLA adherence and positive freelancer experience.
• Formulate a collaborative cross-functional feedback loop with internal delivery teams to improve overall freelance testing opportunity design and communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in managing a high-volume global talent acquisition team, strategic TA Operations, or managing localized freelance/crowdsourced talent marketplaces.
• Demonstrated experience with contemporary Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern sourcing methodologies.
• Proven capability in data analytics, utilizing data tools to monitor marketplace dynamics, pipeline metrics, and team performance.
• Hands-on experience developing talent acquisition strategies, managing localized recruitment budgets, implementing new sourcing channels, and leading process optimization initiatives.
• Experience implementing tools or workflows that automate sourcing, vetting, and onboarding processes.
