Medical Front Desk Specialist

This in an in-office position only (not a remote position) Must live within a reliable commuting distance to Helios Integrated Medicine in Boulder, CO Must have a minimum of 1 year medical front desk experience Must pass a background check and drug screen Duties and Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors and assist them with questions or concerns Answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect patient information Perform patient registration and verify insurance information Process billing, payments, and other financial transactions Maintain and update patient records Verifying test results are in before follow up visits Assist with medical record filing and data entry Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth operations Respond to inquiries and requests from patients and staff Assist with special projects and other administrative tasks Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a medical office setting - minimum of 1 year Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing procedures Proficient in Google Suite features (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Etc) Proficient in QuickBooks Proficient in EHR/EMR Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking skills Attention to detail and accuracy with data entry #J-18808-Ljbffr Helios Integrated Medicine
