License: Active RN license required
Certifications: BLS required, ACLS strongly preferred


Must-Have:
- EPIC charting experience
- Experience managing drips
- Ability to float frequently to meet staffing needs


Description:
This position offers a 36 or 48-hour option.
Travelers will be the first to float.
RNs must be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the facility.
Requests for time off are allowed, with certain blackout dates.
Candidates must have 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital, with some experience required in critical care settings.
Floating may occur to various units within the facility, including stepdown and observation units.
Care teams include CNAs, care techs, transport teams, and paramedics.
The facility is a 100% nicotine-free environment.
Weekend shifts consist of four weekend shifts out of eight possible in a four-week period, including Saturday and Sunday.
Travelers must work two out of three major holidays.
Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must be over 100 miles from the facility.
Pending licenses may be accepted if they are in hand at the time of submission.
Scrubs are mandatory, with specific colors and branding required.
COVID-19 vaccinations are required with medical and religious exemptions only.
Additional qualifications include charge experience, patient ratio experience, and required skills in cardiac telemetry.
The position entails floating to meet facility needs.
