Job Title: Operator Job Description

We are seeking dedicated operators to join our team on both day and night shifts. The role involves working with vertical and horizontal mills, ensuring the accurate and efficient operation of machinery. The night shift offers a paid 30-minute meal break, contributing to a 5% increase in earnings each paycheck.

• Operate vertical and horizontal mills independently, without the need for mentoring.
• Manage jobs independently from setup to completion with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems without escalation.
• Make own off-sets and understand different off-set types.
• Understand cutter compensation.
• Demonstrate the ability to read and understand blueprints, comprehend part features from prints.
• Inspect own work and demonstrate attention to detail in inspecting parts, recognizing cosmetic defects and understanding types of cosmetic failures.

• Experience operating CNC mills and machines.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometres and calipers.
• Ability to inspect products for defects and make necessary machine adjustments.

• Experience with machining and working in a machine shop environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morgan Hill, CA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
