Sales Coordinator - River Roast

River Roast is seeking an organized and guest-focused Sales Coordinator & Administrative Support professional to support sales, event coordination, and daily administrative operations. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional service for private dining, group events, and restaurant functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responding to incoming calls and inquiries with a professional, client-focused approach.
• Supporting event sales efforts by assisting with proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Coordinating event details with operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and sales activity.
• Assisting in driving revenue through effective follow-up and upselling opportunities.

Administrative and financial support includes:

• Performing clerical duties to support sales and restaurant operations.
• Processing and reconciling daily sales, deposits, and cash reports.
• Entering and tracking weekly sales and event data.
• Reviewing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Performing monthly vendor statement reconciliations and assisting with financial reports.
• Maintaining organized and confidential personnel and business files.
• Assisting with preparation of internal reports and employment-related documentation.

Operational support includes:

• Assisting management with staffing coordination, including last-minute coverage needs.
• Maintaining strong working relationships with team members and leadership.
• Ensuring accurate communication of event details across departments.
• Supporting a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Attending trainings and meetings as required.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• Experience in hospitality, catering, restaurant sales, or administrative support preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; POS or event systems experience a plus.
• High attention to detail, especially with financial data.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
