Heritage Care Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated RN to serve as our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) , Staff Development Coordinator , and Infection Preventionist .
In this role, you will inspire, educate, and support our team members while helping to uphold the highest standards of resident care, safety, and regulatory compliance.
What You’ll Do- Provide leadership and support to the nursing department as part of the administrative team.
- Coordinate staff development programs, orientation, and ongoing training for nursing team members.
- Mentor and coach staff to promote skill development, confidence, and teamwork.
- Oversee Infection Prevention & Control processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices.
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives and overall clinical operations.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and team members.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Nebraska (or compact license).
- Experience in staff development, education, or training is highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High personal integrity, a caring and positive attitude, and a professional presence.
- Knowledge of infection prevention practices is beneficial; training may be provided for the right candidate.
