Senior Accountant

A global capital markets technology company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role covers month-end close, multi-jurisdictional audit support, and process improvement, with exposure to M&A integration and system implementation projects as the business continues to scale. Highlights Base salary up to $115K plus 10% target bonus Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite in Chicago Exposure to M&A integration, system implementations, and process automation Multi-jurisdictional scope across U.S., UK, and French entities Backed by two leading global investment firms with strong long-term growth trajectory Collaborative team with real investment in professional development Responsibilities Support month-end close including complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors across consolidated U.S. and statutory audits for international entities Identify inefficiencies in accounting workflows and implement scalable improvements, including automation using tools like Power Automate and Power BI Support evaluation and implementation of close management tools such as FloQast Document and maintain SOPs for key accounting processesCollaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, legal, HR, and international counterparts to ensure consistency across the global entity structure Support integration activities related to acquisitions and new business lines Requirements CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience at a Big 4 or large national public accounting firm Experience in a high-growth technology or financial services company is a plus Proficiency with NetSuite or similar enterprise accounting systems; advanced Excel skills Familiarity with M&A integration or post-acquisition accounting is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment A solid opportunity for a technically strong accountant who wants broader exposure across a global business and room to grow with a scaling organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
