Job Description: 1st Assistant Director Location: Atlanta, GA Company: Never Enough Productions Overview Never Enough Productions is seeking an experienced 1st Assistant Director (1st AD) to join our dynamic team at our Atlanta Film Studios. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in streamlining production by collaborating closely with the production manager and the director to develop an efficient shooting schedule. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and a keen understanding of the filmmaking process. Key Responsibilities Break down scripts to establish a detailed shooting schedule, coordinating with the production manager and director. Manage the talent, crew, and equipment scheduling to ensure smooth operations during each shooting day. Supervise background extras and help direct their performances as needed within scenes. Maintain communication between departments to facilitate timely preparation and execution of shoots. Anticipate and address potential production issues and implement solutions effectively. Assist in maintaining a positive and efficient working environment on set. Qualifications Proven experience as a 1st Assistant Director in film or television production. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with production software and tools is a plus.
