Open to external applicants who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.Status/FTE: FT / 0.8-1.0Shift length: 12 hoursStart Time: 1900Unit: ICUSchedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Three 12-hour shifts each week and every third weekendRequired qualifications:Current state RN licenseAssociate's degree from an accredited nursing schoolBLS for Healthcare Provider upon hireACLS required within six months of hireOne (1) year of ICU experience requiredPreferred qualifications:BSNExperience in critical carePrevious experience with IntraAortic Balloon Pump, Continuous Renal Replacement TherapyCCRN certificationAdditional Information/Department information: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patient from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel.
