Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a growing and well-established organization in the Marietta area to identify an experienced Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has hands‑on experience with NetSuite ERP . This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to take ownership of the month‑end close process, lead a small accounting team, and play a key role in driving process improvements within a technology-focused finance organization. Responsibilities Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing leadership, coaching, and professional development. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP. Own day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management. Utilize NetSuite to manage financial reporting, improve workflows, and enhance system efficiencies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors. Develop and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and increase operational efficiency. Partner with cross‑functional departments to support business initiatives and provide financial insights. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities. Hands‑on NetSuite ERP experience is required. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting. Experience managing the month‑end close process. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. CPA designation is a plus but not required.
