Accounting Manager

Responsibilities Serve as the accounting lead for our NetSuite ERP implementation. Clean up legacy data, map the new chart of accounts, and build out custom reports to support a multi-brand retail/QSR environment. Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Personally prepare and review complex journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, and financial statements. Evaluate legacy, fragmented accounting workflows across our brands and design streamlined, scalable processes fit for a transforming business. Ensure accurate revenue recognition from POS systems, manage inventory accounting (including waste and cost of goods sold across locations), and implement strict internal controls. Build clean, auditable schedules and act as the main point of contact for external auditors during year-end reviews. Lead, mentor, and work side-by-side with a lean accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Requirements 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a retail, restaurant, hospitality, franchise, or other multi-unit consumer business. Experience working within ERP systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferred. Prior experience supporting an ERP implementation, system conversion, or data migration is a plus. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and data management. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
