About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. Traveler experience accepted. Local candidates are accepted with a rate difference. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a cancel and DNR. No block scheduling is available. Skills required include IV start, triage, and telemetry. Ratios are 1:3-5 with approximately 250 visits per day in the unit. The unit includes 101 beds. 36-48 hours of work can be offered. Shifts are 12 hours in the evening from 15:00 to 03:00. Floating is required between different departments as necessary. The minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend days per 6-week period. The unit serves all populations as a regional referral and tertiary care center. A teamwork approach is essential, adhering to behavioral expectations in all interactions with patients and staff. The call-off policy is strongly enforced. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as per job requirements. Submission details including disclosure are required for former employees. All RTO must be pre-approved, with certain limitations. COVID-19 vaccine is not required; flu vaccine is required with exemptions available. Modules for training must be completed prior to starting. Testing must be completed within a specific timeframe after signing. References may be pending at the time of submission.
