We are looking for a customer service professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and is passionate about animal care.As you join our mission, expect to be supported in your work and home life with:A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and a 401(k) plan for full-time employeesProfessional development opportunitiesEmployee pet discount because we know your pets are family, too.Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour, dependent on experience and skillSchedule: This is a full-time position with Monday–Friday shifts between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, plus rotating Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.Key Responsibilities:Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.Qualifications:Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is required.Strong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanorAbout Caring Hands AlexandriaCaring Hands Animal Hospitals are large, well-equipped, AAHA-accredited facilities.
