Looking to make a difference this summer? A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to support summer programs in a collaborative educational setting near Painted Post, NY. This contract role focuses on providing hands-on nursing care within a classroom environment supporting students with various disabilities.

You'll be responsible for administering medications, performing nebulizer treatments, and managing tube feedings for students in a multiple-disabled classroom. Your expertise will ensure the safety and well-being of young learners while working alongside educators and support staff during the summer schedule.

Qualifications:

• Active New York RN or LPN license required
• Previous school nursing or pediatric experience preferred
• Skilled in medication administration, tube feedings, and respiratory treatments such as nebulizers
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to maintaining accurate records and safe practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and medical treatments as prescribed
• Deliver nebulizer and tube feeding care to students as needed
• Monitor and document health status and responses to care
• Respond promptly and calmly to emergent student health needs
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support student care plans
• Provide health education and promote wellness in the classroom setting

This summer contract covers the period from July 6, 2026, through August 14, 2026, with schedules that fit the summer programming calendar.
