PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Demographics: All ages (usually 1+; occasional infants for ENT tubes and tonsils)
  • Case Mix: All specialties except cardiac and OB; emphasis on orthopedics with blocks
FACILITY INFORMATION
  • EMR System: Epic
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline: 60 days
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Outpatient surgical anesthesia for all specialties (except cardiac and OB)
  • Regional anesthesia (nerve blocks) for orthopedics
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active PA license or IMLC LOQ
  • Board: Board Certified in Anesthesiology (will not take BE)
  • DEA: required
  • Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS
  • Experience: 2+ years preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide anesthesia care for outpatient surgical procedures across all specialties (except cardiac and OB)
  • Perform regional anesthesia (nerve blocks) for orthopedic surgeries
  • Supervise CRNAs as part of medical direction model
  • Manage anesthesia for patients of all ages, including occasional infants for ENT procedures
  • No call responsibilities; weekday clinical coverage only
