Senior Manager, Procurement

Date Posted: 2026-03-09 Location: Tucson, AZ (External Site) Security Clearance: Secret (Active, transferable, required day one) What You Will Do Manage procurement activities in support of classified programs, including sourcing, negotiating, preparing purchase orders and PO documentation in accordance with company directives, prime contract flow‑downs and company work instructions. Post‑award management of purchase orders following company directives and work instructions. Lead supplier interaction and collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams to manage procurements such as build‑to‑print, performance specifications, Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs) with medium/high complexity. Prepare and execute various types of agreements, such as PIAs, Long Term Agreements, Bailment, and others. Collaborate with engineering, program management, and finance to ensure timely and cost‑effective procurement of goods and services. Ensure compliance with company policies, FAR/DFARS regulations, and customer requirements. Maintain accountability for program schedules, budgets, and quality metrics related to procurement deliverables. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in a secure and classified environment. Proactively identify and mitigate risks in the procurement process. Support audits and reviews, ensuring documentation and records are up‑to‑date and accurate. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and at least 8 years of experience. Experience with FAR/DFARS and ITAR compliance regulations. U.S. citizenship (only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance). Active and transferable Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications Proven ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with minimal oversight. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Expertise in processing paper purchase orders and procurement systems. Active Top Secret clearance experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with multiple subcontract types: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF). Experience reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents including complex SOWs. Experience with proposals from prospective suppliers and analyzing cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability. Experience working in Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) programs. Professional certifications such as CPSM or PMP. Familiarity with RTX systems and processes. Additional Information Candidates must be U.S. citizens with a current Secret clearance and be eligible for a Top Secret clearance. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates. Salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD.
