Procurement Manager

Responsibilities The Procurement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing materials, furnishings, and services that meet project specifications, budget, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, overseeing purchase orders, and monitoring delivery timelines to ensure projects stay on schedule. The Procurement Manager will collaborate closely with design, project management, and finance teams to align purchasing decisions with design intent and cost targets. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, optimizing procurement processes, and proactively managing risks related to supply chain and vendor performance. The role will also be responsible for studio coordination including office supplies, calendar, and vendor coordination. Qualifications Strong procurement and supplier evaluation skills, with experience sourcing materials, furnishings, and services for design or construction-related projects. Proficiency in contract negotiation and contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining agreements. Demonstrated analytical skills to assess cost, quality, lead times, and vendor performance, and to support data-driven decision-making. Experience building and maintaining vendor relationships, with the ability to resolve issues and ensure consistent service levels. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting. Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with procurement software and basic financial concepts such as budgeting, cost comparison, and margin impact. Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPP) are a plus.
