Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 2 years of experience preferred in a rehabilitation or inpatient setting Description: This is a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. It is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced a loss of function due to an injury or illness. The facility offers intensive, patient-focused, specialized rehabilitation services. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Customized, intense rehabilitation is tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from various conditions. Conditions include stroke, brain injury, neurological issues, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The goal is to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of patients served. Comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs are available. The facility has 52 beds, all private, with a current census of 35. Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 5 patients. Common diagnoses include spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, strokes, amputations, and patients requiring wound care. The nursing staff will care for patients who may require restraints or are in isolation. The expected length of stay for patients is approximately 12 days.
