About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years preferred, minimum of 6 months in rehab or inpatient setting License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years preferred experience in a rehabilitation setting Experience with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke recovery, amputations, and wound care Description: This position involves working in an inpatient acute rehabilitation environment. The facility is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals experiencing loss of function due to injury or illness. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Customized and intensive rehabilitation is tailored to individual needs. The goal is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Patient population includes individuals recovering from neurological conditions, trauma, and orthopedic injuries. Staff will participate in the care of patients requiring various levels of assistance, including those with tracheostomies and isolation needs. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of restraints as necessary. Candidates should be prepared to wear navy blue scrubs, although alternate colors are acceptable. Daily reporting time is scheduled for 7:30 AM, and the patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Free parking is available in designated areas. Closed-toed shoes and short nails are required for compliance with infection control protocols.
