Full Charge Bookkeeper

Full Charge BookkeeperWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper for a machine company in Agawam, MA. Full time, temp-hire opportunity! Looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of previous bookkeeping experience. Must have Quickbooks and be proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform daily and monthly journal entries. Complete account reconciliations, adjusting / closing entries for both month and year end.Reconciling general ledger, bank, and credit card accountsAccounts Payable / Accounts Receivable-Oversee the disbursement activities ensuring the accurate and timely process of accounts payable, employee expense reports, payroll processing and corporate and sales tax.Creating and maintaining month end aging reports. Process commissions on a quarterly basisProvide quarterly and year end reports to external CPA firmProtect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.Skills:Proficiency in data entry and record keepingExperience in payroll processingFamiliarity with bank reconciliation proceduresDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in workStrong numerical and analytical skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to prioritize projects and meet deadlinesStrong competency for customer serviceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHours are 8am-5pm Monday through FridayPay: $65-80K a year, depending on experience
