CNC Operator

Job Details We are a manufacturing company looking to add a CNC Machine Operator to our growing team. This is a permanent position within our dynamic manufacturing team, ideal for someone with a passion for precision, an understanding of quality control, and a knack for problem-solving. The successful candidate will be integral to our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products are produced to the highest standard of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Setting up and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc. Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc. Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function. Preparing and loading raw materials and parts onto the machines. Supervising the machines while they execute the tasks and making any necessary adjustments to improve results. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet requirements. Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery. Adhering to all safety and health regulations. Participating in continuous improvement activities and quality control processes. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role in manufacturing. Extensive knowledge of operating and maintaining CNC machinery. Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical documents and drawings. Experience with quality control and precision measurement techniques. Strong mathematics and mechanics understanding. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to new challenges. Good physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work overtime. High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
