Tool Room Machinist

Honor Plastics & Molding

Duties & Responsibilities:

Knowledge of General machining equipment like Lathe, VMC, and CNC
Cleaning and performing preventative maintenance on molds before and after production.
Basic knowledge of Injection molding and mold maintenance
Tagging and placing molds in assigned locations/ assigning molds to new locations.
Assisting tool room manager in mold change overs according to configurations on work orders.
Maintaining/assigning fixture locations.
Logging in incoming molds and assigning them a mold number according to our mold log.
Change over Troubleshooting Mold
Assisting the production floor with special manufacturing projects
Perform any other assignments given by the Tool Room Supervisor/ VP of Sales and Operations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of an injection molding plant.
• Basic knowledge of tooling parts and supplies.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience repairing injection molding machinery and associated auxiliary equipment.
• Possess a high degree of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills and basic understanding of the English language.
