Healthcare Project Coordinator

Role Description

The Operations & Project Coordinator supports the client in organizing, coordinating, and monitoring day-to-day operational initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring projects, workflows, and assigned responsibilities remain highly organized, on track, and completed with high accuracy across remote healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day projects, operational initiatives, and assigned priorities to keep teams aligned.
• Maintain project trackers, build routine status reports, and provide clear progress updates to the client.
• Identify workflow gaps, bottlenecks, or recurring operational delays, escalating issues with proposed solutions.
• Help establish and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), trackers, and operational guidelines.
• Support the rollout and implementation of new processes, software systems, and operational improvements.
• Track daily tasks, deadlines, deliverables, and open action items across ongoing projects.
• Follow up consistently on outstanding tasks to ensure responsible parties meet set deadlines.
• Facilitate clear, timely communication between the client, internal team members, and external stakeholders.
• Organize meetings, manage schedules, archive project documentation, and track key action items.

Qualifications

• Background in project management, operations coordination, healthcare administration, or a related role.
• Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
• Proactive follow-up skills with a strong sense of personal ownership over task completion.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and remain productive in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with project management platforms, communication tools, documentation software, and general productivity suites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or supporting remote healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with healthcare management software and clinical workflows.
• Hands-on experience creating SOPs, workflow documentation, trackers, and analytical reports.
• Demonstrated success in identifying process inefficiencies and driving workflow improvements.
