Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team.
The ideal candidate will work in a 32-bed intermediate care unit.
This position involves managing drips and caring for more acute patients.
Responsibilities include performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions.
You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
Ongoing evaluation of patients' health status through the collection and assessment of health data is essential.
The role requires health teaching and health counseling for patients.
You will provide therapy and treatment that supports and restores life and well-being.
This may involve direct care to the patient or indirect care through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching others.
You will execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
Monitoring therapy and treatment plans is critical in this role.
Documentation must be completed in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
You should use available resources effectively in your nursing practice.
Promoting the organization's mission, vision, and values is an essential part of this role.
Performing other duties as assigned may be required.
There may be a requirement to float to other departments based on business needs.
Additionally, you may need to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
