Key Functions

Support Agency Owner Development

\n

\n
• Recruit high‑caliber entrepreneurial talent
\n
• Coach new and experienced agency owners to help drive profitable growth
\n
• Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
\n

\n

Drive Business Growth

\n

\n
• Develop strategies that can expand market presence and help enhance agency performance
\n
• Mentor agency owners on their business planning, operations, and sales development
\n
• Strengthen the Farmers brand through community engagement and relationship‑building
\n

\n

Operate and Scale Your District

\n

\n
• Run your own district office and build your internal team
\n
• Create and implement long‑term strategic growth plans
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n

Leadership & Talent Development

\n

\n
• Experience managing teams and coaching others to success
\n
• A passion for developing entrepreneurs and supporting business owners
\n

\n

Sales & Business Experience

\n

\n
• 5+ years in sales, insurance, financial services, or related leadership roles (preferred)
\n
• Proven success recruiting, developing, or leading sales teams
\n

\n

Strategic & Financial Acumen

\n

\n
• Strong understanding of performance metrics and operational best practices
\n
• Ability to manage your own operations and influence multiple businesses simultaneously
\n
• Comfort with strategic decision‑making and business planning
\n

\n

Community & Relationship Building

\n

\n
• Commitment to building relationships that strengthen brand visibility and community impact
\n
• Knowledge of contracts, compliance, and agency operations is a plus
\n

\n

Key Requirements

\n

\n
• Ability to pass a background check
\n
• Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (or willingness to obtain)
\n
• Applicable Series 6, 63, and 26 licenses
\n
• Access to startup capital (no startup fees charged by Farmers)
\n
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
\n
• Completion of the University of Farmers® District Manager Program
\n
• A suitable district office location
\n
• At least two licensed and appointed district staff members at appointment
\n
