Get started!Requisition SummaryThe Trade Program Manager (TPM) will manage the operational entry process requests, such as HTS/ADD/CVD, STL/ALUM/CU, FTA and IOR in addition to any other import activity required to file a complaint entry. This position also manages compliance programs by performing audits on broker entries and ensuring adherence to import and export customs regulations. In addition, this position supports the International Compliance Manager and the compliance department with any tasks or activities required such as post entry correction projects, protest filing, trade remedies, and duty drawback programs among other activities.Job Functions /Responsibilities:Classifications:Responsible for accurate classifications of heavy truck components, equipment, prototypes and related products.Ability to interpret technical drawings and legal rulings to assign proper classifications.Verify accuracy of 3rd party classifications and coordinate workflow.Update HTS database timely and accurately.Provide timely responses to internal and external customers.Antidumping and Countervailing Duties:Monitor anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) cases, report on potential cases that may impact PACCAR, and maintain records of current products subject to AD/CVD.Research and advise brokers on AD/CVD applicability.Monitor termination of cases.Internal Audits and Controls: Conduct internal audits to identify broker, supplier and division compliance issues and work to resolve any issues identified to ensure regulatory compliance through the PACCAR supply chain.Report, address, and document internal audit findings.Other Responsibilities:Perform other compliance related duties and/or projects as required, including, but not limited to responding to customs inquiries, duty drawback filings, broker/vendor/government payment processing, developing internal compliance training, proper record keeping, and broker invoice processing.Qualifications & Skills:5+ years of work experieceBachelor’s degree in business, Logistics or International-related fieldCustoms broker license requiredThree years of experience in trade compliance desired Strong classification skillsWorking knowledge of US & CA Customs laws and regulations Detail-oriented, with ability to identify and resolve entry filing errorsStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to accurately describe/simplify complex customs terms/programsAbility to meet deadlines and work with a sense of urgency Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong Excel, Access, and data analysis skillsBenefitsAs a U.S. PACCAR employee, you have a full range of benefit options including:401k with up to a 5% company matchFully funded pension plan that provides monthly benefits after retirementComprehensive paid time off – minimum of 10 paid vacation days (additional days are provided with additional seniority/years of service), 12 paid holidays, and sick timeTuition reimbursement for continued educationMedical, dental, and vision plans for you and your familyFlexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings account (HSA)Paid short-and long-term disability programsLife and accidental death and dismemberment insuranceEAP services including wellness plans, estate planning, financial counseling and moreThis position is also eligible for a holiday gift.Additional Job Board InformationPACCAR is an E-Verify and Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability.
