We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing Accounting & Finance team within the Home Building Industry. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain general ledger accounts
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
- Process daily cash receipts
- Analyze financial data and prepare supporting schedules and account reconciliations
- Assist with cost reporting and financial analysis
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred
- Recent graduates with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
