Interim Staff Accountant

STAFF ACCOUNTANT- HYBRID

Pay: $34-$38/Hour


About the Role:
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support accounting operations for a global publicly traded manufacturing company. This role will be responsible for general ledger activities, month-end close, financial analysis, and support of T&E and procurement processes. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large data sets and ERP systems.

Candidates must be commutable to Conshohocken, PA 3 days a week.


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and assist with account reconciliations
• Analyze financial data using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) to support reporting and projects
• Support Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense (T&E), and expense compliance processes
• Manage T&E escalations and serve as a backup for procurement and corporate card programs
• Assist with SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requests
• Support ongoing finance initiatives, system implementations, and process improvements
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, including journal entries, month-end close, and Accounts Payable
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, debits, and credits
• Experience with Coupa and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or JD Edwards
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Experience supporting SOX/internal controls and audit processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
