Staff Accountant

Base pay range $27.00/yr - $33.00/yr This range is provided by Beacon Hill. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. The Staff Accountant supports day-to-day accounting operations and ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role is responsible for journal entries, account reconciliations, month‑end close support, and financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and company policies. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests Maintain compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies Identify and recommend process improvements and efficiencies Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Payroll, FP&A, Operations) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 1-3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate) Working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred) Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
